The CritiSeal, developed and designed by Be Safe Paramedical, is a vented chest wound seal used for the emergency treatment of open pneumothorax in the field.
The CritiSeal provides occlusion of penetrating chest wound and integrated one-vale reduces the potential for the development of tension pneumothorax. It can be applied rapidly and once applied will, provide excellent chest wall adhesion buy means of its thick gel adhesive layer.
